Join Milton Keynes Hockey Club – New Players Welcome!
Looking to try something new, get back into sport, or find a friendly community? Milton Keynes Hockey Club (MKHC) is on the lookout for new members of all ages and abilities! Whether you’re a seasoned player, returning after a break, or completely new to hockey, you’ll find a warm welcome at our home at Woughton on the Green.
MKHC runs four Men’s/Open and four Women’s teams (ages 13+), competing in the South-Central Hockey Leagues from September to April, with opportunities for everyone from beginners to experienced players. Adult training starts on Tuesday 1st September, 7.00–9.00pm, and new players are encouraged to come along and give hockey a try.
Our thriving junior section introduces children aged 4+ to hockey, with teams from U8 through to U16, with many continuing into senior hockey. Junior Training starts from Sunday 13th September 10-11:30 am, so pop that in your calendars for the new school year!
Not sure if hockey is for you? Come along to our Club Day on Saturday 12 September, 10.00am–4.00pm, at Woughton on the Green. Enjoy fun hockey activities, junior sessions, pre-season matches, stalls, prizes, a BBQ and bar, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Being a member of MKHC is much more than what happens on the pitch! We’re a friendly, inclusive club with a busy social calendar, including quiz nights, race nights, fancy dress parties, black-tie awards evenings, and even a Burns Night Ceilidh last year. This summer, over 70 members travelled to Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre to support England in the FIH Pro League. Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for all we get up to.
