Every Christmas Stony Stratford glitters and shines with enchanting\, twinkling lights\, and excitement builds as the festive season is officially launched following the town’s Christmas Lights Switch-On Fun Day. \nThousands of people will come into Stony Stratford for the switching on of the Christmas Lights but many miss out on all the other activities that go on around the town during the day to make it a full day’s experience: \nWATLINGFEST: Each year we have a wealth of local musical talent performing on the stage in the Market Square from about 11.30am to 4.20pm. There is always a good mix of musical genres and this year is no exception. Watch out for the programme on our website. \nCIRCUS SKILLS: Concrete Circus will be setting up on the Market Square to encourage children to have a go at juggling\, unicycling\, tight-rope walking and other circus skills.
