DESCRIPTION:The 21st Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival in aid of Brain Tumour Research takes place on Saturday 6th July 2024 at Willen Lake and up to 48 teams will compete over the 200m race course\, watched by several thousand spectators. As well as the exciting races\, a wide range of bankside entertainment\, food stalls and fun activities guarantee a fabulous day out for all the family! \nDragon boat racing is the fastest growing water activity in Britain today – as well as the most fun! Up to 10 people paddle each 30’ boat with a drummer at the front beating time and our helm at the tail steering a straight course. No previous experience is required\, just plenty of team spirit! \nThe Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival is mainly aimed at corporate groups who are looking for a great team building day out whilst supporting and raising money for Brain Tumour Research. Upon entering\, you can choose to upgrade your entry package to include a donation to Brain Tumour Research or you can simply raise funds in your own way!

DESCRIPTION:Returning for a 4th year\, after an overwhelming response from our visitors and traders\, we are pleased to be back with the MK Film and Comic Con 2024 from 10am to 4pm at The Ridgeway Centre\, Wolverton\, MK12 5TH. \nGet the cosplay outfits out\, visit lots of stalls with film and comic merchandise\, admire various artists work\, look out for your favourite characters from the film and comic book world (don’t forget to ask for a photo!) and immerse yourself into the various free entertainment\, games and competitions throughout the day. \nDon’t miss photo opportunities with cosplay groups and various prop displays! \nKeep an eye out on our website and facebook pages for all MKFCC updates and what you can expect to see on 13th July! \nWe have taken the decision to continue to NOT have guest signers at this event\, but give a more interactive and entertainment-focussed experience for the day. \nTICKETS!! \n\nALL DAY £7 ENTRY IN ADVANCE (plus booking fee)\nHALF DAY (From 1pm) £5 ENTRY IN ADVANCE (plus booking fee)\n£10 ON THE DOOR TICKETS – please note advanced ticket holders will get priority over anyone that turns up on the door and if the event is full\, you will need to wait until a space is available.\nKIDS 10 YEARS AND UNDER GO FREE – with a ticket\nCARERS CAN ATTEND FOR FREE WITH VALID ID – with a ticket\n\nAll tickets are available through Eventbrite. \nTicket cancellation policy: Tickets may refunded up to 30 days before the event.
