SUMMARY:Sonic Time Machine: The 70s & 80s Pop Rock Experience
DESCRIPTION:Genesis\, David Bowie\, Dire Straits\, The Police\, Pink Floyd\, Supertramp\, 10cc and ELO sit at the core of The 70s and 80s Pop Rock Experience as Sonic Time Machine arrives at Stantonbury Theatre. \nThe night is a full scale celebration of the bands who defined a generation\, with their music delivered at genuine live concert power. \nThe show is built around these bands. Every performance is live\, precise and intense. Between each act the room shifts as cinematic sequences take over the stage\, raising the atmosphere and building a sense of story as each legendary band prepares to arrive. These transitions reset the night with impact\, moving the audience from world to world with the force of a film cut. It’s a concert engineered with the scale of cinema. \nThe journey hits with purpose. Each band lands as a major moment. Each song has space to breathe and the muscle to strike. The intention is clear; honour the music and let it hit with its full weight. \nThe entire event is filmed from doors open to the final note. Audience interviews take place before and after. There are chances to join in if you choose\, whether from your seat or for a chorus on stage. Nothing is expected. The atmosphere comes from the shared energy in the room. \nThis performance is a bold tribute to the giants of the era\, powered by staging and production designed to lift their music to its rightful scale. \nOnce you have booked your tickets\, spread the word. Bring the people who love this era. This is a night built to do justice to the legends.

SUMMARY:Mean Girls
DESCRIPTION:Totally Grool – The Plastics Are Coming!\nGet in\, losers; we’re going on tour!  Tina Fey brought the Burn Book to the West End in the Summer of 2024\, shortly after\, a $105 million-grossing movie was made – and it was like\, totally fetch! Now the 12-time Tony nominated musical\, which features a Book by Fey\, music from Jeff Richmond\, lyrics from Legally Blonde’s Nell Benjamin and direction from Book of Mormon’s Casey Nicholaw invites you to join Cady Heron once again as she heads from the wilds of Africa to the wilds of high-school across the UK…this time with songs! \nIt’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 20 years since Tina Fey’s smart\, funny and emotionally engaging movie came out and introduced us to Cady’s high-school food chain\, ruled at the top by a trio called ‘The Plastics’\, a group of menacing popular girls with social scare tactics more terrifying than pride of lions. In light of the years that have passed (there probably weren’t even like\, computers back then)\, Fey has brought the musical into the present day\, where the Plastics have added Snapchat\, WhatsApp and Instagram to their legion of weapons!\n \nWhat Is The Story?\nCady Heron is a bright home-schooled student who has spent most of her life in Africa with her parents. Now back in the US\, she’s sent to the local high school to learn to play with others. Turns out\, it might be her biggest challenge yet. Coupled with learning what normal school is like\, she must navigate the twisting social whirl surrounding her. When she finds herself the target of the infamous Plastics\, led by wolf in sheep’s clothing Regina George\, Cady decides with her new friends Janis and Damien that it’s time to put a stop to their dictatorship. As Cady’s plan sees her growing ever more popular and catching the eye of a certain boy\, her revenge seems less and less important. \nCan Cady rediscover herself and bring down the Plastics\, or will she be seduced by their world and lost to the Mathletes forever? It might be a classic high-school conundrum but we guarantee you won’t mind seeing how this one plays out.
